Warren Odiorne is the pulpit minister for the Alvarado Church of Christ and has served in that capacity for over 20 years. While that is his title, his view of himself is somewhat different. He sees himself as a sinner being saved by grace, as well as a machinist who gets to preach. After marrying his high school sweetheart Cindy, Warren went to work in a factory machining oil field tools and equipment. Warren thought he had found where he was supposed to be, but the Lord had other ideas. As Warren and Cindy began their family, God began opening doors that resulted in a drastic change for their journey. You could rightly describe it as a tremendous working of God’s grace. God took a rough-around-the-edges machinist and gave Warren the privilege to do what he considers one of life’s greatest works, preaching God’s message of salvation.

Jake Agin is the Youth Minister for the Alvarado Church of Christ. Jake is a Harding graduate who graduated with a major in Political Science and minors in both History and Bible Family. Jake is responsible for the spiritual education of the teens at the Alvarado Church of Christ. He teachers classes and plans different activities for youth participation. Jake is a loving Christian who is continuously trying to improve in his walk with Christ.
